Calculating rate-based reserves
This program accepts any units for the initial daily rate and the abandonment daily rate. It returns a remaining reserve estimate in the same units, along with the remaining well life, in years.
The calculation employs an exponential decline, and is a useful check on reserve estimates that you might generate using other methods, such as volumetrics.
